What we teach
Ultrasound guidance for every injectable procedure
Ultrasound turns blind injections into image-guided treatments. We teach you to see the target layer, the vessels and previously injected product before and during every procedure.
All dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, polycaprolactone and other fillers: check layer, vessels and existing product before you inject.
Skinboosters by cannula
When skinboosters are placed with a cannula, ultrasound shows the plane and the cannula tip. Superficial micro-papule techniques do not need image guidance.
Thread lifts
Plan the vector, control the depth and keep threads away from vessels and other critical structures.
Subdermal energy-based procedures
Position fibres and probes in the intended fat layer under real-time imaging, away from nerves and vessels.
Dissolving fillers
Targeted, ultrasound-guided hyaluronidase exactly where hyaluronic acid filler sits. For non-HA fillers we teach the options — and their limits.
Complication management
Recognise vascular adverse events, nodules and filler migration early, and treat them under image guidance.

Why ultrasound
Why use ultrasound for fillers and toxins?
Short answers to the questions doctors ask us most.
What is facial ultrasound?
Facial ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to show skin layers, fat compartments, muscles, vessels and previously injected fillers in real time — without radiation.
Does ultrasound make injections safer?
Yes. Seeing vessels and existing filler before and during injection helps avoid the wrong layer and supports fast, targeted treatment of vascular adverse events.
Can I see old fillers with ultrasound?
Most fillers — hyaluronic acid, CaHA, PLLA, PMMA, silicone and more — have a typical ultrasound appearance, so you can identify them before treating.
Who can join a Cutaneous course?
Physicians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and licensed injectors. No prior ultrasound experience is needed for the base course.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own ultrasound device?
No. Devices are provided during hands-on courses. We are also happy to advise you on choosing a device for your practice.
Which procedures can be ultrasound-guided?
Every type of dermal filler, skinboosters placed with a cannula, thread lifts, subdermal energy-based procedures and the dissolving of hyaluronic acid fillers with hyaluronidase. Superficial micro-papule injection techniques do not require ultrasound guidance.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive a certificate after completing a course.
Which language are the courses in?
Most courses are in English. Selected courses are held in German, Spanish, Polish and other languages.
Can I start online and join a hands-on course later?
Yes. Online pre-learning is included with hands-on courses, and online courses can also be booked on their own.
